Summer over already???

I can't believe that the summer is over. These last couple of weeks back in Kingston have gone by pretty fast. Rugby is back in session at Queen's, so there goes my life for the next few months. It's worth it though, as the returning team has a bunch of really good guys and the coaching staff is awesome as usual. We had our annual games with Dartmouth and Army this weekend, with us hosting the event this year. Everyone seemed to have a great time. We hung out with the Dartmouth coach Saturday evening (Mags) and one of the Board of Directors at Dartmouth (Boomer). Both very good guys and we had a great time discussing rugby, the stupidity of people in charge everywhere, and how much Dartmouth hates Harvard. I had no idea there was such animosity between the two schools. I think the only thing holding back outright hostilities is the fact that 2300+ on your SATs means you are pretty smart as well. Queen's won all 4 their games: 19-0 Vs. Dartmouth 1sts, 78-0 Vs. Dartmouth 2nds, 38-5 Vs. Army 1sts, and 19-12 Vs. Army 2nds. Good wins by all.

The students are also back in Kingston, which means egocentrism has increased by an average of 68% per person in the Kingston-Frontenac District. I got yelled at by a guy crossing the street one night, wearing an entirely black outfit because I almost ran him over. This despite his attire and the fact he was crossing on the wrong light with a "no-walk" sign glowing. Don't you just love intoxication? Then I had to clear a bunch of neanderthals off my car (I had parked on the street and when I got back to my car it was littered with students). Punches were not exchanged, but neither were pleasantries.

BBQ tonight, so that should be good, and then it's back to school tomorrow. Which reminds me, I need to get some work done.

Oh ya, would someone please vote on my survey question? I thought it was funny.
