OK, so I love Will Ferrell on SNL doing Celebrity Jeopardy. It might be the funniest thing that has every been on TV, all thanks to Sean Connery. However, last night, there may have been something funnier on TV... real Celebrity Jeopardy. Regis Philbin, Carson Kressley (from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy), and who would have guessed, Nancy Grace, who I think may be the dumbest person on TV. Now I don't want to go and have her sue me for libel issues... but come on. Have you every watched her? I saw her interviewing Jack Hanna, the semi-famous animal guy from the columbus zoo. Some of his animals were smarter than she was. After being told that porcupines have quills with barbs on them that sick into an attacking animal, she asked which ends the barbs were on. Yes, becuase it would make sense for the porcupine to have the barbs sticking into itself, when when attacked, large chunks of flesh would be ripped out.
How does a person like that get on celebrity Jeopardy? The more important question is how does a person like that get on CNN? And her voice is annoying to boot!! Its not like she has a nice "news" voice, its whiney and irritating.
Anyway, it was pretty funny last night when she confused Flamingos (giant pink birds with long legs) and Flamenco (spanish musical genre and dancing style) becuase not only do those things sound the same, they also look and sound the same as well. An easy mistake to make, for a 6-year old.
Anyway, enjoy the clip of Celebrity Jeopardy.
